Consistency. Consistency. Consistency.

Why starting and staying consistent matters more than doing it perfectly

“Consistency beats motivation. Every single time.”

Consistency. That’s what it’s all about 💪

Right now, I’m training for a marathon for the Autism Fund together with our team at YouLynq.me. In theory, I should be training three times a week. In reality? I’m not there yet.

Once a week works.

And that’s where I start.

Not perfect. Not according to plan. But I’m moving. And that’s what matters. From there, you build, increase the pace and improve over time.

And the funny thing is, it works exactly the same on LinkedIn.

I hear it all the time.

“I don’t have time.”
“I don’t have inspiration.”
“Do people even care about what I post?”

The answer is yes.

But just like training, you don’t have to start perfectly. If posting three times a week feels like too much, start with once a week. As long as you keep going.

Because that’s where the real value is.

Not in one great post, but in showing up every week. Being visible. Staying top of mind, even when you don’t realize it yourself.

It’s not even about what you think people think.

It’s about being there.

Showing what you know. Staying present. Becoming recognizable over time.

Of course, posting three times a week is better than once.

You show up more often, stay top of mind and learn faster what works and what doesn’t. You can experiment more, adjust quicker and grow faster.

But once a week is still infinitely better than zero.

It keeps you moving.
It keeps you visible.
It keeps you warm.

It’s just not high-intensity.

So see it as a starting point.

Just begin.
Stay consistent.
And increase the pace over time.

That’s the only way 🚀

And speaking of that marathon…

I’ll be running the entire marathon live for the Autism Fund.
For my son ❤️

Show me the magic in real life 🪄
