LinkedIn Masterclass at VU Amsterdam

Objective

Following the successful LinkedIn Masterclass in 2023, the partnership with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) will continue.

In collaboration with SBE Career Services and Norbert Broekman, students from the School of Business and Economics will receive support in strengthening their professional presence on LinkedIn.

The focus is on:

• Optimizing LinkedIn profiles for a stronger professional image
• Increasing visibility to recruiters and employers
• Developing a powerful personal brand
• Leveraging networks strategically for career opportunities
• Strengthening online presence as a complement to the resume
• Preparing students for internships, entry-level positions, and entrepreneurship

In a job market where online visibility is becoming increasingly important, a strong LinkedIn profile helps students stand out more effectively.

Approach

The masterclass revolves around one central message:

LinkedIn is not just an online resume, but a powerful platform for creating opportunities, building relationships, and establishing a professional presence.

With that in mind, we’ll take a practical approach to:

• Optimizing LinkedIn profiles for greater visibility and impact
• Strengthening personal positioning and professional image
• Increasing discoverability for recruiters and employers
• Developing an effective networking strategy
• Smartly leveraging content and interaction on LinkedIn
• Building a professional network that adds value in the long term

The session is interactive and practical, allowing students to immediately implement concrete improvements to their profile and networking strategy.
