“LinkedIn and networking are becoming increasingly important for taking the first step into the job market.” – Norbert Broekman
Following the successful LinkedIn Masterclass in 2023, the partnership with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) will continue.
In collaboration with SBE Career Services and Norbert Broekman, students from the School of Business and Economics will receive support in strengthening their professional presence on LinkedIn.
The focus is on:
In a job market where online visibility is becoming increasingly important, a strong LinkedIn profile helps students stand out more effectively.

With that in mind, we’ll take a practical approach to:
The session is interactive and practical, allowing students to immediately implement concrete improvements to their profile and networking strategy.
Results
The importance of LinkedIn and professional networking continues to grow within higher education and in the job market.
As the Nationale Onderwijsgids previously reported:
“With this workshop led by entrepreneur and LinkedIn expert Michiel Verstraten, VU aims to help students position themselves more effectively with recruiters and employers.”
Norbert Broekman also believes that LinkedIn is becoming increasingly important:
“We’re noticing that LinkedIn and networking are becoming increasingly important for taking that first step toward the job market.”
Thanks to this collaboration, students are gaining concrete tools to make themselves more visible to recruiters, employers, and future clients.
Thank you to Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam for their trust. We look forward to welcoming a new group of ambitious students who want to invest in visibility, positioning, and professional growth.
