How a guest lecture at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht showed students that LinkedIn is all about relationships, visibility, and consistent follow-up

The goal of the guest lecture on B2B Sales via LinkedIn at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht was to show students that LinkedIn is much more than just an online resume and how the platform can be used for networking, personal branding, and B2B sales.
The focus was on:
Strengthening students’ personal branding
Optimizing LinkedIn profiles for professional visibility
Learning to build valuable business relationships
Understanding LinkedIn as a networking and sales platform
Encouraging consistency, authenticity, and follow-up in online networking
Additionally, the goal was to make students aware that their first job, internship, or even first client might already be within their own LinkedIn network.
Approach
During the interactive guest lecture, we worked hands-on with an enthusiastic group of students on LinkedIn and modern B2B sales.
