I really wasn’t expecting this.
Every piano player knows the feeling: when you recognize the song someone is playing, you step in and join them.
And somehow, you instantly have a connection.
That’s exactly what happened at Kuusamo Airport, probably the smallest and cutest airport I’ve ever seen, all the way up in northern Finland.
I started playing, Aateke Jansen joined me and before we knew it, complete strangers were dancing in the airport.
What a feeling.
What a joy.
It was such a simple moment, but maybe that’s exactly what made it so special.
No planning.
No agenda.
Just music, people and connection.
And honestly, that’s how this entire trip has felt.
I don’t think this trip will ever really end.
At least, that’s how it feels right now.
There’s something special about the positive, spontaneous and adventurous energy of a group of entrepreneurs from Belgium and the Netherlands.
Everyone joins in.
Everyone contributes.
Everyone is open to whatever happens in the moment.
And maybe that’s what real connection is.
You don’t always need to know someone for years.
Sometimes you just need to know the same song.
Thank you, Outspire. ❤️
