“Who’s taking the photo?”
“If we run into each other, a selfie is best!” 😄
You know what’s beautiful about posting authentically? When you meet each other in real life, it’s exactly the same as it is on social media.
Sometimes you see someone post all the time and you form a certain image of them. Then you meet that person and suddenly they turn out to be very reserved, quiet or just completely different.
That is definitely not the case with us 😂
And then you instantly have a connection.
That’s why I believe the best content strategy is actually very simple: stay true to yourself.
Show who you really are, what you really think and what you truly believe in. That is the only thing that works in the long run.
Anything that is too staged, too calculated or too made up eventually stops working. Because the moment people meet you in real life, it no longer matches.
And I think that applies to more than just content.
It’s how you build a company. It’s how you build relationships with colleagues, clients and your network.
The same energy should be felt everywhere.
Online. Offline. At the office. With a client. At an event.
And that is only possible when it’s real.
René van der Zel is, to me, the perfect example of just being real.
Could there be a happier photo than this? Just look at those two smiles 😂 It makes me happy all over again.
You too?
Thanks, René. Once again, you’re a legend!
