The perfect ending to our trip in Suriname ❤️🇸🇷
After all the adventures in the Amazon, we got to see our amazing colleagues from Suriname for the second time. Most of them have now been working for YouLynq.me for more than two years. We speak to each other almost every day, but finally seeing each other in real life was really special.
And it was immediately clear why they are our colleagues.
Warm. Social. Smart. Involved. Simply amazing people, every single one of them.
What perhaps stood out to me most was their entrepreneurial spirit. Besides their work with us, they are also building their own dreams.
Uri makes his own tea.
Iraida makes beautiful bags.
Amy-Yo paints.
Irma does photography.
Sharisma studies alongside her work.
And the list goes on.
That is what entrepreneurship is all about. Not waiting, but building. Not choosing just one path, but creating opportunities.
It perfectly matches the mentality we have seen everywhere in Suriname over the past few days. In Paramaribo and deep in the Amazon. People who achieve incredible things with limited resources.
