“If you bring in 25 clients with our LinkedIn service, I’ll get your logo tattooed on my leg.”
That’s what I said, half as a joke, to Olivier.
Fast forward 11 months… and yes indeed. 25 clients. Hikers.
So: a promise is a promise.
Not just in some tattoo shop, but maybe in the most beautiful place I’ve ever gotten a tattoo in my life: high up in the mountains of England, right in the middle of Sussex. Yes, that’s actually possible. And it was magical.
How did this all begin?
About 1.5 years ago, I connected with Olivier on LinkedIn. I wanted to offer him our LinkedIn service.
But the conversation flipped. He actually got me excited about his adventure: hikes in the French Ardennes for entrepreneurs.
I thought: amazing, let’s go!
What happened next is hard to put into words.
It wasn’t just hiking. It was enjoying, reflecting, and growing.
Sharing, laughing, sparring, and finding silence in nature together with a group of inspiring entrepreneurs.
I came home as a different person.
Eventually, Olivier and Jeff with Outspire – Creativity Hikes became our clients after all.
And now? Now we’re taking big steps together. Literally and figuratively.
