That makes you quiet. Truly quiet. Impressed, almost spiritual. The world is literally at your feet here.
Through FCN I met Roy from Stone Gallery. We recently spoke again during Family Talks at the beautiful estate De Olmenhorst.
Today my father and I got a private tour from father and son: Roy and Max.
What a business. What a passion. What a history. Literally history. Millions of years of beauty and wonder collected under one roof.
We received extensive explanations about the most beautiful pieces: petrified wood, meteorites, moonstone, the golden triangle; amethyst, rock crystal and rose quartz. We were completely blown away.
But also real dinosaur discoveries, mammoths, the largest deer in the world and one of the first stones on earth in which oxygen was found.
And yes… of course we didn’t leave empty-handed. I already knew that beforehand. That might actually be the only risk of visiting Stone Gallery: you drive home with a fully loaded car.
Oh yes… soon they are also opening a brand-new gallery here. I honestly can’t wait to see it.
