Some colleagues really surprise you when you meet them outside of work.
This is Iraida Asongie. She has been an amazing colleague in our team in Suriname for quite some time.
But besides her work, she has another talent. She designs and makes her own bags and jewelry.
And not just any bags. Each one made with love, craftsmanship and its own unique style.
Thor and I didn’t have to think about it for long. We both immediately bought a bag for our girlfriends.
And the best part? They absolutely loved them.
That might be one of the best things about this trip. You discover that colleagues are so much more than their job title. Behind every person there is a story, a passion and often an entrepreneur too.
