This is my last video before I go skydiving with Wim de Gier at Skydive Teuge.
I’m on my way there and my heart is somewhere in my throat by now.
I met Wim through LinkedIn. We’ve met up a few times and clicked straight away. The guy has an incredible amount of energy. From what I understand, he jumps and flies several times a week, and this is genuinely what he lives for. It’s amazing to see.
During our last video call, he suddenly said:
“Why don’t you come along sometime?”
Of course I said YES.
And today is the day.
I’m incredibly excited, but honestly, I’m also pretty nervous. There are definitely some healthy nerves kicking in.
But more than anything, I’m going to try to enjoy it.
Wim gave me one important piece of advice on the phone just now: keep your eyes open and really take in the moment.
Today we’re doing a tandem skydive from high altitude, with a long free fall before the parachute opens.
Just thinking about that…
I genuinely feel lucky to get to experience something like this, and I can’t wait to push another boundary in a completely different way.
More fun, pushing my limits and, of course, creating some pretty unforgettable content.
