Mike and I have been training at Biondi for a year and a half. We’re also going on an expedition together to Suriname, in the Amazon, this July.
At the same time, we’re helping Momentum and Frits with LinkedIn and personal branding, of course.
Everything came together when Mike was brave enough to participate in the Zuidas Business Boxing event.
I have to be honest, there aren’t many things I wouldn’t do in life, but this is something else entirely.
What an atmosphere.
What pressure.
What tension.
A massive hall, filled with companies from Amsterdam and all over the Netherlands. Tables everywhere, supporters everywhere.
Right in the middle of the boxing ring. All the boxers are introduced with great fanfare.
The best part: they’re all amateurs. Most of them are even doing this for the first time.
Just like Mike. And what a hero. Look at him stepping into the ring. Next level! 🔥
He started off incredibly strong; he was bound to succeed. But halfway through the first round, he takes a solid uppercut to the jaw and almost goes down. What bad luck!
To make matters worse, he had to face the fighter representing the main sponsor, Girav BV. Double bad luck 😅
But here’s the thing.
The second round was already better!
In the third round, he makes a comeback. He lands some really nice punches and just wins that round.
That’s what I call perseverance. Really cool.
