From ad agency to AI powerhouse… and the lesson is simple!

Why marketing changes, but the principles stay the same

Founded in 1999.
Abovomaxlead | B-Corp is now the largest independent agency in the Netherlands. That’s quite a dream.

We were founded in 2019, 20 years later.
So it’s still possible 😉 Haha!

With FCN, we visited this amazing agency for a company visit. It was great to hear Marinus’ story.

From a “traditional” advertising agency → to a digital agency → to social media → and now, of course, AI.

Respect for continuously evolving through all these phases and ultimately becoming the biggest.

Now it’s time for LinkedIn, Marinus… coffee is ready ☕

We learned a lot about how advertising is changing, but also how much stays the same. In B2B, we focus on personal branding and thought leadership, which is different. But the core principles of marketing and influencing buyers are ultimately identical.

The takeaway?

You need to be visible.
And you need to make sure they choose you.

That’s exactly what happens on LinkedIn as well. With thought leadership, you position yourself as the visible expert. At the same time, you build one-on-one relationships, turning visibility into actual clients.

B2B and B2C might not be that different after all.
