Me nango! A fika da wan switi lesi!

Jumping was forbidden.

There are snakes, anacondas, caimans and crocodiles. But above all, there is a strong current, lots of rocks and the water can suddenly become very shallow.

So I had to jump far.

But without a little risk, there’s no fun.

So I jumped anyway.

Biondi wasn’t there at that moment, because he wouldn’t have approved. So his sister Doddy filmed me. She was worried, because she knew what Biondi would say 😉

But it was amazing. Especially because it wasn’t allowed. It gives you adrenaline, precisely because of the risk.

And the beautiful thing?

By the end of the trip, everyone jumped. Even frontflips and backflips.

But someone had to take the first jump.

And that’s exactly how entrepreneurship works.

You have to be the first. You come up with something and you execute it first. That’s how it always goes.

Mike gave a beautiful compliment. He said that because we kept taking initiative, we experienced so much more as a group.

Walking through the village.
Carrying a pan on your head.
Buying artwork.
Preparing food.

That was the effect the group had on each other.

Together, we pushed each other forward. Because it was so much fun. Such a connection. Such a special experience together.

Teamwork!

I don’t think I’ll experience a trip like this again anytime soon.

None of us will.

Thanks everyone. Such a shame it’s already over!

The Surinamese jungle. The river. The Saramaccan people…
