Longevity.
Who else thinks about this?
Life is strange, right?
You work, you build, you love, you make memories, you raise your kids…
And then one day, you die.
Your life is incredibly small in the grand scheme of things, but at the same time, it is everything you have.
That paradox makes me afraid of losing it.
So I have a goal:
I want to live to 120.
Not because I’m afraid of getting older, but because I want to experience this life for as long as possible.
I want to see what happens in the world, keep building things, keep learning and, most importantly, be there for my kids for as long as I possibly can.
Of course, you can’t control everything.
But you can influence the odds.
That’s why I stopped drinking alcohol six years ago.
I stopped eating sugar two years ago.
I exercise a lot, try to stay active and I’m becoming more conscious of what I put into my body.
I still have plenty to work on.
I still eat pizza.
I still have a burger sometimes.
And there are plenty of habits I know I could change. I’ll probably get there one step at a time.
But the direction is clear.
120 years.
Can’t wait.
Or actually…
That’s the wrong way to put it.
I hope that day never comes.
If it were up to me, I’d live forever.
Who else thinks about this?
And who is actively working on longevity?
