Sometimes the best collaborations don’t take months, they take two weeks 🏄♂️
Two weeks ago, I connected with Jo Weston on LinkedIn. From the very first moment, it was clear: same energy, same ideas. No long build-up, no complex planning, just an instant match.
And today, we were standing together at The Unknown University of Applied Sciences in The Hague, delivering a guest lecture 🎤
That’s how fast things can move when you actually take action.
During the session, one thing became very clear: many people still underestimate the power of LinkedIn. It’s often seen as just a digital CV, while in reality it’s much more than that. It’s your second website, your personal platform where people form an opinion about you before you even speak.
Then we moved into something that’s often overlooked.
Building relationships is more important than collecting connections 🤝 Without engagement, you’re invisible. Connecting alone isn’t enough, it’s about what you do afterwards.
We also went hands-on with prospecting. Tools like Sales Navigator, Boolean search and platforms like Clay help you work more targeted and build lists that actually convert. Not spraying and praying, but making conscious decisions about who you want to connect with.
But the most important moment wasn’t in the theory.
Everyone took action. Creating content. Posting. Becoming visible. Because in the end, one thing always holds true: action beats theory.
And maybe that’s the biggest takeaway.
Opportunities don’t come from perfect planning. They come from showing up, connecting and moving when the moment feels right.
What started with one simple message turned into a collaboration in just two weeks.
Sometimes it really is that simple.
As long as you start 🚀
