Everyone’s a Winner! 🏅 What an Unforgettable Marathon

From a course record to our very first marathon, the Amsterdam Marathon proves that winning isn’t just about speed. It’s about pushing your limits.

You don’t have to be the fastest to be a winner. Everyone runs their own race.

She made history! 🏆 Buza Diriba won the women’s race in 2:16:12, breaking both the course record and her personal best!

Our very own Mikky Keetels finished in 2:30:36, making her the fastest Dutch woman!

And what about our own champions?

🏃 Thor J. De Groot finished in 3:16!

🏃 Harold van der Marel finished in 4:05!

🏃 And I finished in 4:29!

All three of us achieved personal bests, just like Buza and Mikky!

Nothing but winners here! 💪 And for us, it was our first marathon too.

That’s what I love so much about the marathon. We run the exact same course as the professionals, on the very same day. We just start about an hour later!

I’ve just posted this exact video of my own finish.

Thor was so fast that he actually saw the elite runners coming back along the Amstel while he was still heading in the opposite direction. How cool is that?!

I’m incredibly proud of Thor and Harold. What amazing entrepreneurs they are!

Because sport often reflects who we are as professionals. Always striving to do our best, pushing our limits, refusing to give up and simply getting things done.

The same mindset that helps you succeed in business can also help you achieve things in sport you once thought were impossible.

And the beautiful thing about a marathon is that you don’t have to be the fastest to be a winner. Everyone is running their own race, chasing their own goals and pushing their own boundaries.

That’s what makes this event so special!

Congratulations to all the winners, and congratulations to every single participant! You’re all champions! 🏅

What an incredible experience!
