I didn’t feel like it, but I did it anyway.
A small detour. Off road. A few hundred meters extra walking.
I saw the opportunity, felt the resistance, and still decided to go.
And that’s exactly what we should do more often.
It’s so easy to stay in relaxation mode. Comfort is tempting.
But that small voice in your head that says:
“I should probably do this…”
listen to it.
Don’t postpone.
Don’t ignore it.
Just do it.
I train myself in this every day.
Even in the smallest things.
If I think in the morning:
“I should take the trash out”
I do it immediately. No discussion. No later.
Because if you do that all day,
you stack dozens of quick wins effortlessly.
And trust me, that makes you extremely effective.
And sometimes you even get something nice in return.
Like today.
I took that turn.
Stepped out of my comfort zone.
Between the geese. In the middle of nature.
And I was rewarded with a beautiful video.
Free content.
Just because I did it anyway.
Beautiful, right!
