Every developer recognizes this.
You’re this close to perfect code…
But it still doesn’t work.
So you tweak one tiny detail.
Then another.
Then another.
You refresh.
You test.
You doubt yourself.
And then…
when you’re almost ready to give up…
you take one last random swing.
Bam. It works.
That feeling is unreal.
Relief. Pride. Adrenaline.
Like your brain just unlocked a secret level.
Here’s the funny part:
I’m not a developer.
But the first software of <YouLynq.me>, I built with my own hands in HTML.
And we still use parts of it today.
Sometimes I look at that code and honestly think:
How on earth did I build such complex structures back then?
Because now…
if something breaks…
I can’t fix it quickly.
Because I simply don’t remember anymore.
Back then I was so deep in it.
I knew exactly why that detail worked.
I could zoom in endlessly and keep solving.
Now?
That state of mind is gone.
It’s like building a house…
but years later you don’t remember where you put the pipes in the wall.
Crazy, right?
And still…
I’m genuinely amazed and proud that I built something I actually thought I couldn’t.
Haha.
It taught me something I still believe to this day:
“I can’t” doesn’t exist.
You can. Always.
