In business, you always need a little magic ✨

The balance between clarity and craft

“People don’t only buy the process. They buy the feeling that you can do what they cannot.”

In business, you always need a little magic ✨

When you offer a service or product, prospects want clarity and they should.

What do you do exactly?
How do you do it?
What’s the plan?

But here’s the interesting part:

If you explain every single step, you remove the thing that creates trust and excitement:

a little mystery.

Because the real value is often not the “what”…

It’s the craft behind it.

Some examples:

✅ Marketing: you can explain your content strategy, but not the instinct behind the one line that makes people stop scrolling.
✅ Sales: you can share the process, but not the timing of the message that suddenly gets a “Yes, let’s talk.”
✅ Delivery: you can show your workflow, but not the experience it takes to keep things simple when reality gets chaotic.

A few tips to keep the right balance:

• Be clear about the outcome, not your full recipe
• Use proof (cases, results, stories) instead of over-explaining
• Keep one “signature ingredient” that makes your work feel effortless, even if it isn’t

Because in business, a little mystery isn’t vague.

It’s what makes great work feel like… magic.

But seriously… 😉
