Wow. A “new” song and music video by Michael Jackson.
Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise went viral.
But I think this is even more next level.
It’s bizarre, really. And at the same time impressive. It is genuinely a good song, with a video that feels like something he could have made himself. The style fits, the music fits, and it almost feels like it could actually have been his.
The melody literally got stuck in my head right away.
As a Michael Jackson fan, I can definitely appreciate it. In a way, it allows fans to keep enjoying the artists they admire.
But it also raises an interesting question.
The capabilities of AI have now become so good that it no longer simply feels “fake” or “bad.” It is getting closer and closer to real creative output.
Is that amazing?
Or is it a little unsettling?
And perhaps more importantly, is it ethical?
Is it actually okay to create new art on behalf of someone who is no longer here?
Honestly, I don’t know.
On one hand, it feels like a beautiful way to keep a legacy alive. On the other hand, the question remains. Would these artists have wanted this themselves? Perhaps they would. And what about their families?
What do you think?
Can legends achieve a kind of digital immortality through AI?
Or are there boundaries we should not cross?
If this shocks some people, I apologize. It is purely meant as informational and as a form of art.
