500 Views Are More People Than You Think

Stop looking at the number. Look at the people behind it.

500 views means 500 real people

Put 500 people in a room.

That’s a pretty big crowd.

So don’t get discouraged when your LinkedIn post doesn’t get thousands or tens of thousands of views. 500 people seeing your story are still 500 real people.

And more importantly, some of them might be exactly the right people.

Because it’s not just about the number of views. It’s about the quality of those views.

Who is seeing your content? Are potential clients, partners and people from your market among them?

And then there’s consistency.

500 views every week adds up to 26,000 moments a year when someone sees your name, your face, your knowledge or your point of view.

So keep posting. And keep showing up consistently.

My tip?

Post three times a week. All year long.

And add around 20 relevant people to your network every day. Not random people, but people from your market you genuinely want to build relationships with.

Do that for 12 months and I promise you: your market will know who you are.

Not because one post went viral.

But because you kept showing up, sharing knowledge and growing your network.

That’s how you eventually build your position as an expert.

Thanks Merlin for the great conversation.
