10 years ago, we worked together at Rabobank.
What a time!
We both really enjoyed it and learned so much.
Sander started his own business back then. He became self-employed and started coaching other entrepreneurs.
I found that incredibly inspiring.
Facebook was still the platform back then.
Every week, Sander would post several videos sharing his ideas, his perspective, his events and his journey as an entrepreneur.
I was a fan from day one!
A few years later, when I started my own business, Sander became a fan of mine too.
We kept in touch through Facebook and LinkedIn, complimented each other and simply stayed connected.
And now, we finally met up again.
Exactly 10 years later!
How beautiful is that?
We had lunch, went for a walk and talked about entrepreneurship and personal branding.
Sander took me into the dunes of Schoorl, where he also takes his clients.
Wow.
I genuinely had no idea the Netherlands had such a beautiful dune area.
Hills, forests, dunes, sand — and it’s absolutely huge.
Highly recommend it!
I can definitely see why Sander has built such a successful coaching business in this beautiful environment.
I loved it.
And as a final surprise, I also got a beautiful gift: Sander’s new book, ZIJN.
Can’t wait to read it!
