There Is No Perfect Time to Post on LinkedIn.

The right timing helps. But a strong hook, visual and story are what really make the difference.

Timing can make a good post better. Strong content makes the difference.

So, what’s the best time to post on LinkedIn?

My answer usually surprises people.

That perfect time… doesn’t really exist.

Strong content wins more often than not.

I gave an example of a post about Messi that went live in the middle of the night, around 1:00 AM.

The result?

More than 150,000 views.

Why?

Because some people were still awake.

And the rest woke up the next morning, opened LinkedIn and came across a post they simply couldn’t ignore.

The algorithm keeps testing good content until it becomes clear how valuable it really is.

But there’s an important nuance.

Most of us aren’t posting viral content.

We’re posting good, but fairly average content.

And that’s exactly where timing does make a difference.

If you post at 10 PM while your audience is asleep, you’re missing that first group of people who could read, react and engage with your post.

You’re making it unnecessarily difficult for yourself.

So my advice is simple:

Post when your audience is awake and active.

On weekdays, that’s often somewhere between 8 and 11 AM.

And weekends can actually perform surprisingly well on LinkedIn too.

But remember this:

Timing won’t make a bad post good.

Timing can make a good post slightly better.

The biggest opportunity isn’t choosing the perfect time to post.

It’s optimizing every single post.

The hook.
The visual.
The story.

That’s what ultimately determines whether people keep reading or keep scrolling.
