People who know me a little know that I’m always switched on, but I also leave some things until the very last minute.
Strategically, I think very long-term.
But when it comes to planning, details and execution, I often deal with them when they actually become relevant.
I’m not going to spend a whole week worrying about packing my suitcase for a holiday.
Or spend a week getting nervous about a masterclass I’m going to teach.
Of course I prepare my slides and make sure my own chaotic side doesn’t catch me off guard. 😉
The same goes for the marathon.
I have trained, but honestly, not enough.
Everyone around me has been joking for months that I needed to do more.
And now they’re suddenly surprised that I’ve completely changed gears and decided to go all in.
Entrepreneurship works pretty much the same way for me.
By April and May, I already know summer can be a little quieter, so we make sure our campaigns are ready to go.
But sometimes you still hit a dip.
And that’s not the moment to spend weeks overthinking it.
That’s when you go hard.
That’s how I choose to live:
Don’t get distracted by unnecessary details, but always keep your eyes on the destination.
And go all in when the moment calls for it.
It’s a strange balance.
But that feeling when everything suddenly clicks?
I love it.
Who else recognizes this?
