This is hilarious! I’ve just bought a few bottles of cava for my birthday party, and they ask me if I’m actually 18. 😂
I think they were joking. But hey, I’ll take it as a compliment! And as a passionate anti-alcohol advocate, I can only appreciate how seriously they take their age checks.
Then I tell them it’s my 40th birthday today, and they spontaneously give me a bouquet of flowers! 💐

It’s a real family business, and you can feel it in everything they do. Literally every employee greets you. Seriously! The moment you walk in, everyone says hello. And the cashier spends the whole day welcoming customers while scanning their shopping and handling payments.
Now that’s what I call great entrepreneurship. Running a business that genuinely cares about its customers. Not because it’s required, but because it seems to be part of the company’s DNA.
And you know what? It makes such a difference! I love seeing that this kind of customer service still exists today. It can be that simple, yet you don’t find it everywhere.

Oh, and meanwhile, my wife and her friends have decorated the entire house for my birthday. Right down to the toilet paper! 😂
And, funnily enough, she also accidentally ordered a party banner with the number 18 on it.
But you know what? It actually fits the day perfectly.
Because yes, I’ve turned 40, but I still feel 18!
And after that compliment at PLUS, I’m almost starting to believe it myself. 😉
