Obstacles never really disappear.
You just have to deal with them and keep going.
Today, I had an amazing run.
I couldn’t feel my feet. No pain in my knee. Everything felt perfect.
For the first time, I thought:
Yes. This is what it’s supposed to feel like.
And then I got heartburn and all kinds of other little problems while running. 😂
And suddenly I realized:
It actually doesn’t matter.
When one thing stops bothering you, something else will probably take its place.
Maybe that’s just how it works.
There’s always something.
With sports.
With business.
With life.
So the goal isn’t to wait until all the obstacles disappear.
Because that moment probably never comes.
It’s about not constantly focusing on whatever is bothering you.
Accept it.
Ignore it when you can.
And keep going.
Because before you know it, you’re so busy focusing on everything that doesn’t feel perfect that you forget you’re actually out there running and enjoying it.
And maybe that applies to a lot more than just running.
Who can relate?
