In October, I’m running the Amsterdam Marathon.
And yes, I’m just going to livestream the whole thing on Instagram.
Everyone keeps asking how.
No elaborate preparation. No setup. No hassle.
I’ll just bring my phone and go.
Of course I’m training. I want to finish those 42 km properly.
But the livestream part?
I’ll figure it out.
Just like today.
I put on my running shoes, kept my normal clothes on and went for a run.
No overthinking.
Just go.
And honestly, sales works the same way.
You can spend days getting stuck in plans, strategies and trying to find “the perfect approach”.
But nothing really happens until you start.
In fact, if a 30-minute call gets cancelled?
Great.
That’s 30 messages you can send.
And yes, I know how easy it is to put those things off.
“I’ll do it later.”
But that “later” is often what costs you the most.
The busier you get, the more creative you become.
And somehow, you start getting a lot more done in a day.
You can train that too.
A few weeks ago, I was struggling to go running once a week.
Now I’m actually excited about it and running three times a week.
Same thing is happening on LinkedIn now.
Everything is becoming rawer.
More honest.
Less polished.
So just message that person.
Make the spontaneous call.
Post that simple selfie from the event.
It works.
Maybe especially now, when AI is smoothing everything out.
So, less thinking. More doing.
Start today.
Just fit it in between everything else.
What are you going to do right now?
Let me know!
