Day 2. This is life.
We’ve now spent about a day and a half without our phones, without internet and without any real contact with the outside world.
And honestly?
It was great.
I know it probably looks like we’re making videos all day.
And yes, we definitely are.
But for the past day and a half, there simply hasn’t been any connection.
Which also meant there was nothing constantly pulling our attention away from where we actually were.
And something interesting happened.
We connected on a deeper level.
We started paying more attention to the people around us and, somehow, also looking further into the distance.
Because without constant notifications, messages and distractions, you simply start noticing more.
The conversations became longer.
The laughter became louder.
And the silence around us suddenly felt more meaningful.
Because all there was were the trees, the water, the mountains, the cold air and the people standing next to you.
No emails waiting for a reply.
No LinkedIn.
No endless stream of information.
And no feeling that you should constantly be somewhere else.
Just nature, good food, a fire, cold water, great conversations and a group of people sharing an experience together.
Maybe that’s what pure life feels like.
Sometimes you have to disconnect from the internet to realize how deeply you can connect with everything else around you.
With nature.
With other people.
And maybe, just a little bit more, with yourself.
This is life.
Thank you, Outspire. Thank you to this amazing group. And thank you, Finland, for reminding me what really matters. 🇫🇮
