This is why I love relay races.
One teammate can be behind.
Another can make up ground.
And then there is Sha’Carri.
She took the baton with work still to do. No panic. No excuses. Just complete focus.
She chased. She believed.
That’s exactly how great teams work.
Business isn’t about having four people who are individually the fastest.
It’s about having four people who trust each other enough to keep fighting until the very last meter.
Sometimes you receive the baton with a disadvantage.
Sometimes you’re the one creating the advantage for the next person.
Your job is never to complain about the position you’re in.
Your job is to run your leg as hard as you can.
Because the strongest team isn’t the one that leads from the start.
It’s the one where every link in the chain gives everything until the finish line.
Never give up just because you’re behind.
The race isn’t over until the last teammate crosses the line.
That’s the power of teamwork.
