For a week we lived with the Saramaccan community in the Surinamese Amazon. We trained, worked, hiked, and learned together.
Boxing quickly became more than a sport.
It became teamwork.
You don’t make it through the jungle alone. You help each other cross rivers, climb mountains, carry equipment, and keep each other motivated when you’re exhausted.
The jungle doesn’t care about your job title, your followers, or your success.
It only rewards discipline, respect, and teamwork.
