An inbound call from an old friend ⚽️
He wanted some advice on how to post about the World Championship on LinkedIn. I was already on another call, but of course I picked up.
Because when someone needs your expertise, speed matters.
That’s the thing about sales.
You spend days, weeks, sometimes months prospecting. Sending messages. Following up. Creating content. Reaching out. And often it feels like nothing is happening. Especially in Summer ☀️😢

The opportunities that seem to come out of nowhere are usually the result of all the work you’ve been doing when nobody was watching.
So if you’re feeling frustrated because it’s summer…
Because everyone is postponing decisions…
Because everything feels quiet…
Don’t worry.
Keep going.
Wake up earlier.
Do more outreach.
Send another follow-up.
Create another post.
Have another conversation.
Most people slow down during summer.
That’s exactly why you shouldn’t.
Momentum doesn’t start after summer.
Momentum starts now.
And when the calls come in, make sure you answer fast.
