“Whoops, my mistake… ☕🌊
Monday, I was in Scheveningen for an event with fCN – Founders Carbon Network. I quickly texted Chilot and Claire: “Where should we be?” Their response: “Michiel… that event isn’t until September 18th.”
So I had looked at my calendar a month too early. For someone who schedules business appointments for clients daily, this feels like one of the bigger blunders you can make.
But to be honest: there are worse places to be in the wrong place. So, I grabbed a cappuccino, took a walk through the dunes, and started the day off right anyway.
👉 Entrepreneurship is also this: making mistakes, putting them in perspective, and learning from them.
👉 My lesson: don’t just check your calendar, but also the date. Especially if you’re running multiple events, appointments, and campaigns at the same time. Or just text someone beforehand!
👉 And sometimes, a “wrong” morning is exactly what you need to pause, zoom out, and clear your head.
A blessing in disguise, then.
