When fake feels real

AI creates memories that never happened – so what does that mean for what we call “real”?

"AI created a memory. And that’s... kind of wild."

This isn’t fake.
But it is AI. 🕺
And honestly? Pretty bizarre.

I saw a video of Michael Jackson talking, singing, lifelike.
Then we took this selfie, smiling at the camera.
The vibe, his posture, his gaze everything felt right.
Until I realized: none of it was real.

You know what’s strange?
Afterwards, I genuinely felt like I had taken a photo with him.
Like I had actually met him.
AI had created a memory.
And that’s… kind of wild.

🎬 What I saw was Sora 2 by ChatGPT, the latest AI video tech that doesn’t just generate visuals it simulates emotion.
No more still prompts, but full scenes with expression, depth, and feeling.
And that’s where it gets uncomfortable:
If fake can feel so real… what even defines “real” anymore?
