Training with a torn arm? Yes, I still went.
Two weeks ago during boxing training, I overstretched my left arm.
Since then, I haven’t been able to lift anything and moving my arm has been tough.
Today it turned out: a small muscle tear.
Still, I went to train.
It’s easy to cancel.
But I don’t do that.
Of course, I’ll make an appointment with a physio,
but my reason for training has nothing to do with fighting.
I don’t train to hit harder, I train to stay healthy, fit, and sharp.
To feel good.
And that works, even without using my left arm.
There are still plenty of exercises I can do.
Maybe it won’t make me a better fighter,
but it will make me fitter, healthier, and more energetic.
With a packed schedule, I already skip enough training sessions.
So when I do have time, I go injured arm or not.
Some people say: “You should rest.”
But before you know it, three weeks have gone by,
and there goes your fitness, there goes your motivation.
So I just take my torn arm with me to training and keep it still.
The rest of my body moves.
And today’s session was great.
Thanks again, Biondi 🙌
It’s the same with running a business.
You’re often “injured,” things don’t go the way you want, or you’re just not feeling it.
That’s when it’s easy to back off.
But that is what separates success from failure.
Successful entrepreneurship isn’t about being great at one thing
it’s about showing up, again and again.
