YES YES YES! we said as a team. That sounds awesome!
When Mark ter Voert arrived with all the LEGO, I immediately discovered something special: I suddenly had memories I didn’t know I had. For example, the little LEGO shark whose mouth you can open and close.
Instant nostalgia, and the kid in us came out.
But that wasn’t all! The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® concept really works. Everyone gets to work with their hands from their subconscious. You look with your hands and listen with your eyes.
The whole team opens up in a way that wouldn’t happen if you just had to write things down or if someone asked you a question.
That way, you can truly build from intrinsic values.
We started from individual perceptions and then had to use them to depict the current organization and then improve it from there.
It’s bizarre how well this worked.
