The #1 LinkedIn success factor

The power of consistency: how simply showing up makes you an expert on LinkedIn.

"The only reason most people don't succeed on LinkedIn is that they stop showing up."

The #1 success factor on LinkedIn?
Not ads. Not hacks. Not even going viral.
It’s consistency.

Whenever I advise clients, I always start with this:

Step 1: Just start. Don’t overthink it. Don’t wait for the “perfect” moment.
Step 2: Once you’ve started, never stop. Make it part of your routine.
Step 3: As you go, improve the quality of your content and thought leadership.
Step 4: Focus on building your network and genuinely nurturing those connections.
Step 5: Keep learning, testing and improving.
Step 6: Repeat all of this, consistently. Not for a few weeks, but forever.

This isn’t a 30-day sprint. It’s a long game.
And the only reason most people don’t succeed on LinkedIn is because they stop showing up.
Not because they’re not good enough, but because they’re not consistent enough.

The interesting part?
If you do manage to show up consistently, everything else starts to fall into place naturally.
Your content improves because you get into a rhythm.
Your network grows because people start noticing you.
And slowly, you become the go-to expert in your field, not because you shouted the loudest, but because you never stopped showing up.
