Today marks the final day of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence: Orange the World. A campaign that, year after year, shows how important it is to keep standing up for safety, equality, and respect.
For me, those 16 days could last forever.
As the son of my mother, father of my daughter, husband of my wife, brother to four sisters, grandson of my grandmother, son-in-law to my mother-in-law, stepson to my stepmother, and brother-in-law to my sisters-in-law all I can feel is pride.
Proud of the women who shaped me.
Proud of everything they contribute, every single day.
Women are the foundation of our lives.
Of our families, our children, our very existence.
Let’s continue to love our women, protect them, support them and above all: be grateful for the life they give us.
