LinkedIn to use your data for AI training

Starting November 2025, your public profile data will be used for AI unless you opt out manually.

"LinkedIn's AI training starts with your data unless you choose otherwise."

Starting November 3, 2025, LinkedIn will automatically begin using your public profile information, activity, posts, and CV to train its AI models. This setting is turned on by default, so you’ll need to take action if you don’t want your data to be included.

You can disable this in your privacy settings, but many users are (still) unaware of this change. It raises important questions about data ownership, transparency, and user choice especially on a platform that is increasingly experimenting with artificial intelligence.
