“Using LinkedIn strategically? Then now’s the time to review your approach.”

Since November 3, 2025, LinkedIn has been using user data like profile information and content to train AI models, in collaboration with its parent company Microsoft.

This now applies by default in regions like the EU, UK, Switzerland, and Canada.

You can turn this off manually via:
Settings > Data privacy > Data for generative AI improvement

For professionals and businesses, this means:
– Your data can be used to train AI
– Ad targeting and content reach may shift
– Transparency toward your network and colleagues becomes more important

If you use LinkedIn strategically, now’s the time to review your settings and your approach.
