“He’ll be back,” I said 3 years ago when Matthijs left.

He’s already closed multiple deals. After only 1 month back! 🔥

Matthijs was our very first sales manager in 2021. Our top scorer. But he wanted to develop as a project manager and left.

Everyone thought: too bad, but logical.

I stuck to it: “He’ll be back. Just you wait.”

2 months ago, my phone rang. Matthijs.

I answered with: “Are you coming back to work for us?”

“How did you know?” 😄

Sometimes you just know. Some people belong on your team. Period.

We haven’t changed, we’ve just become more professional. And gained 2 gray hairs 😉 And Matthijs? He’s grown, gained experience, and has now returned even stronger.
