It’s wonderful, of course, all those AI tools, especially the impressive ChatGPT.

So it’s no surprise that it’s the fastest adopted platform ever.

ChatGPT grew from 1 million to 100 million users in just 2 months!

For comparison: TikTok → 9 months Instagram → 30 months Spotify → 55 months

Crazy, right! So it’s not surprising that this tool is increasingly used for things like our LinkedIn content. More than 54% of content on LinkedIn is now written with AI.

But there are some snags, because how do you use ChatGPT for your content without losing your authenticity?

A study from Cornell University (2023) found that people could distinguish with 78% accuracy whether a LinkedIn post was written by AI or a human.

People catch on faster than you think!

So how do you do this right? Well, here are 3 quick tips to help you get started:

1️⃣ Emojis in the headline: ChatGPT often uses emojis in the headline. I know, they’re cheerful and friendly, but they are quickly recognized by our internal AI radar and are therefore less authentic.

2️⃣ Hyphens: ChatGPT often uses hyphens (—) instead of commas (,). This is mainly used in America and England, but in the Netherlands we just stick to the comma,,,

3️⃣ Capital letters in hashtags: ChatGPT often uses words with capital letters in hashtags, so remove them, and to be honest: hashtags and LinkedIn were never a great match. Leaving them out entirely makes your content even more authentic.

So! If you’re writing your content with ChatGPT, always check these 3 tips!
