Objective

In January, Calco launched a pilot project with Youlynq.me. It took me a little while to fully understand their value proposition and what it could mean for both myself and Calco. However, my personal goal was already clear: I wanted to expand my LinkedIn network with C-level connections at companies with substantial IT departments. Additionally, I aimed to regularly schedule 30-minute introductory meetings via Teams.

Approach

After a second explanation of Youlynq.me’s value proposition, we started a six-week pilot. At Calco, we provided lists of companies we considered relevant, and Youlynq.me began reaching out to potential connections via my LinkedIn account. The setup process went smoothly with a dedicated account manager, and the results from the connection and meeting requests were immediately very positive.

Using the dashboard to track results, along with monthly reviews and direct communication via email, WhatsApp, and phone for urgent matters, made the collaboration efficient and seamless. This structured approach further enhanced the trust and positive working relationship.

Results

The results in the first few weeks were so promising that we decided to extend the pilot into a six-month collaboration. During this period, I gained over 600 new, relevant LinkedIn connections and consistently held 3 to 4 meetings per week with new connections interested in Calco’s proposition.
