How I made 100K revenue in 1 month using LinkedIn (and why It’s not realistic)

Why 100K Revenue in 1 Month with LinkedIn Isn't Realistic (But Achievable in 2-3 Years)

09 September 2024 -

"It's not about quick wins, but building lasting relationships and consistent effort."

I have to disappoint you. Unfortunately, this isn’t going to happen, so let me set you straight. You cannot grow from 10K in revenue per month to 100K in one month or even within 2 or 3 months. If you’re selling a service, you simply can’t scale that quickly. Your business would likely fall apart 😉

What is possible, however, is that you can reach 100K in monthly revenue within 2 or 3 years. I’ll gladly explain how, but it’s not a simple step-by-step plan. It’s a continuous strategy with a lot of hard work to achieve results.

How do you build strong relationships on LinkedIn?

It’s all about building relationships. How do you ensure that you are the go-to person for the people in your network?

Step 1: Optimize your LinkedIn profile and company page

This is always greatly underestimated, but people judge you based on your profile. Often in a split second, so your profile picture and headline are crucial.

Step 2: Define your target audience using Sales Navigator

If you don’t have premium? No worries, even with the free version of LinkedIn, you can create good lists.

Step 3: Consistently invite new people from your target audience

Maintain a routine and invite at least 10 people per day.

Step 4: Build relationships

When you connect with new people, it’s up to you to build the relationship. Don’t dive straight into offering your services. No, start the conversation authentically and personally. Show genuine interest, share knowledge, and network. Truly believe in this, and don’t treat your prospects as potential customers, but as relationships you want to build a connection with.

Step 5: Keep track of your conversations

When should you follow up with people, and do what you promise. A good CRM is very important, but keeping your CRM updated is even more crucial. A quick tip: you can even set a future email directly from your inbox. Super handy!

Step 6: Become a thought leader in your business

A good content strategy ensures you’re seen as the expert and stay top of mind with your relationships. Again, don’t push your proposition. Share knowledge, experiences, successes, and advice. Don’t end with ‘Want this too? Call me now.’ If your content is truly good, people will call you themselves. The most important thing is to stay top of mind. Conversions usually come from 1-on-1 conversations, and your content supports this.

Step 7: Keep going and never stop

Good luck! 🏆 You can do it!
