Only 18 days until winter is officially over. But it’s already so warm that I had to quickly share a few winter shots ❄️✨
The best personal branding photos happen spontaneously.
Not because there’s a plan.
Not because it’s scripted.
But because the moment is right.
What do you need?
A good iPhone.
And a great photographer: Martijn Elzenga 👏🏻
These photos are the perfect example.
Not planned at all. No script. No poses.
Just a great environment and the right moment.
And that’s exactly where things often go wrong.
Many people miss the moment because they want to think and plan first.
While the best photos are taken in the most unexpected moments.
Just try it.
You’ll notice you actually have way more opportunities to create great content than you think.
Just you, your iPhone and your creativity.
The key is to connect a business message to your photo.
For me as an entrepreneur, that’s not too hard. I’m thinking about it all day.
Finding the right angle is a creative process, but it’s something you can develop.
My simple method:
• Grab your iPhone
• Use portrait mode
• Take spontaneous photos, no plan
• Then look at the feeling of the photo
That moment tells you if there’s a business angle in it.
Maybe you’re thinking.
Maybe you’re looking ahead, working on strategy.
Maybe you’re facing a challenge and look thoughtful.
Or maybe you just look a bit funny and end up writing a post about spontaneous photos and personal branding 😜
Everything can be content.
As long as you see the moment and capture it.
Just do it. Good luck.
And feel free to tag me when you post a photo with a strong LinkedIn story.
