This is how serious we are on LinkedIn 🤣

About positioning, perfection and a bit of self-awareness

“People don’t connect with titles. They connect with people.”

Who else finds this painfully relatable? 🤣

In the series ‘Infantilio’, the absurd life of adults is recreated by children. And honestly? It’s a painful, but brilliant mirror.

Because this…
This is exactly how we present ourselves on LinkedIn.

Bigger.
Sharper.
More successful.

We upgrade our job titles.
Polish our achievements.
Write as if every week was a breakthrough.

But hey… fake it till you make it, right? 😉

To be fair: it makes sense.

When you go to a business event, you dress up.
You don’t show up in flip-flops.
You put on your best smile.
You talk a bit more enthusiastically about your work than you would at the coffee machine on a Monday morning at 08:30.

LinkedIn is that same event.
Just digital.

We show our best side.
Our growth.
Our insights.
Our wins.

And there’s nothing wrong with that.

But sometimes it’s good to realize how seriously we take ourselves.
How professional we sound.
How strategic we suddenly talk about things that were just “a fun idea” yesterday.

Maybe it doesn’t always have to be perfect.
Less polished.
More human.

Because in the end, people don’t connect with job titles.
They connect with people.

And a bit of self-awareness?

That makes you more credible than the perfect headline ever could.
