This week I had the privilege of training more than 250 professionals from Wesco Anixter and their Women’s Impact Network (WIN) on one of my favorite topics: LinkedIn Personal Branding.

What stood out wasn’t the size of the audience.

It was the ambition.

Professionals from different countries, backgrounds and roles all came together with the same goal: to become more visible, more credible and more influential in their industry.

That’s exactly why personal branding has become such an important business skill.

We covered:
• How to become visible without becoming “salesy”
• How AI can help you create better content without losing authenticity
• Why employee advocacy is becoming one of the biggest competitive advantages for global companies
• How thought leadership creates trust long before the first sales conversation

The energy during the interactive sessions was incredible. So many thoughtful questions, great discussions and inspiring examples from professionals across the globe.

One thing became clear once again:

People don’t buy from companies. They buy from people.

The organizations that invest in helping their people build a personal brand today will have a huge advantage tomorrow.
