YEAH! My first blog on Frankwatching is online!
I’m really curious to know what you think 🙏
This time, it’s a bit of a longer blog with some practical examples from people who inspire me, such as René van der Zel, Richard van der Blom, and Gary Vaynerchuk!
What is the key takeaway?
It’s all about authenticity and storytelling. We all know that things need to be more personal, both in terms of content and outreach. The funny thing is, I see this far too little. So take note: we, the people on LinkedIn, want to be taken along in the story, and we want something to read. We want to hear about your stories, your experiences, your expertise, and your advice.
That sounds simple, but it’s not that easy at all. It’s much easier to just list what you do. It’s much better to share a bit of knowledge step by step. This applies to content strategy, networking, your website, and even your sales conversations.
Have you ever thought about that? Every element of the relationship with your customer should contribute to conveying your story, your vision, and your knowledge.
So, we’re going to turn things around 180 degrees!
A quick tip: If someone asks you, “What do you do?” don’t answer that question. Instead, answer this one: “Why do you do this?”
So, now something that’s not allowed, haha, but I’m doing it anyway: If someone asks me what we do, I say, “We believe that you need to build personal relationships on LinkedIn to generate business, and we help our clients with that.”
Hoppa! Let’s go!
Oh, and to wrap up with a question, because that works well on LinkedIn ☺️ What did you think of the blog?
Cheers!
Huge thanks to Alissa van Meerveld and Frankwatching!
